Most of the stories were written as if those were happening in UAE. Might be author's favourite place.

The Stranger

        

    Albert Camus' The Stranger tells the story of Meursault, a man who feels disconnected from life and emotions. After his mother dies, he doesn't show much sadness. The book explores the idea that life has no real meaning and that society judges people based on emotions and rules. It’s a thought-provoking story about being different and how life can sometimes feel empty.

Bottom line : 

This world judges us only with our EQ, No matter how much IQ we possess ! Still the author concludes the story with the Merursault gaining empathy after the KT given by the Pastor .

Recommended audience: 

People who want to attach and detach to this world at the same time.

    Pyre (Pookuzhi in Tamil version )by Perumal Murugan is a poignant novel that delves into the harsh realities of caste and social divisions in rural India. Bottom line : 

You can even skip reading in between, but don't skip the last three chapters. Spine chilling!

Since the slang is bit different, Readers may find it difficult at first .
